Itinerary
- Day 1Welcome to Georgia
Upon arrival in Georgia, you will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel in Tbilisi. Check-in and relax as you prepare for your exciting journey exploring the city's many attractions.
- Day 2Explore Tbilisi's Charming Old Districts
On the second day of our Georgia travel package, we will explore the charming capital of Georgia, Tbilisi. Our tour will begin at the 13th century Metekhi church and continue with a walk through the city's old districts, featuring colorful houses, patterned balconies, and modern architecture. We will take cable cars up to the ancient Narikala fortress and enjoy panoramic views of the town before walking down to the historic domed sulfur bath area.
- Day 3Ancient Capital of Georgia
We visited ancient Mtskheta to see Jvari Church (6th century) and Svetitskhoveli Cathedral (11th century) both UNESCO sites. Then we visited Borjomi spa town for a taste of mineral water.
- Day 4Explore the Magnificent Cave Town of Vardzia
On day 4 of our Georgia vacation package, we visited Vardzia, a stunning cave town from the 12th century, with a church and frescoes, dwellings, churches, and more. On the way, we see Khertvisi fortress from the 10th century.
- Day 5Visit Gori Town and Uplistsikhe Cave Town
We'll explore Gori and visit Uplistsikhe Cave Town, then drive up the Georgian Military Highway to the Ananuri architectural complex. Marvel at the ancient structures and art while overlooking the Zhinvali water reservoir.
- Day 6Drive from Gudauri to Kazbegi
On day 6, enjoy a scenic drive to Kazbegi town and admire the views of the majestic Mt. Kazbegi. Return to Tbilisi for an overnight stay. Optional 4WD ride to Gergeti Trinity Church for stunning mountain views.
- Day 7Explore Tbilisi's Markets and Malls at Your Own Pace
Enjoy a free day shopping in Tbilisi without a guide or driver. Explore the city's shopping options, from traditional bazaars to modern malls. Don't forget to sample the local cuisine while you shop!
- Day 8Leaving Georgia with Unforgettable Memories
On the last day of our Memorable 8 days Georgia tour package, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure from Georgia.
