Day 1
Arrival At The Sultanate of Oman
You will arrive at the sultanate of Oman and will be greeted by the chauffer to will take you to your hotel. You will be spending the night at the Ramee Guest Line Hotel Muscat.
Day 2
Enjoy The Muscat City Tour- Sunset Cruise
The 6 night 7 days highlights of Oman will take you on a muscat city tour- sunset cruise. As a part of the city tour, you will visit the Sultan Qaboos Mosque, the 5th biggest mosque in the world. The Mosque is open from 0800 HRS till 1100 HRS (except Friday). You will be taken on a guided tour of the Royal Opera house and Bait Al Baranda Museum. After the guided tour, you will be taken on a drive along the corniche to Muttrah Souk, the oldest souk in Oman. Flanked by two Portuguese forts, Al Mirani and Al Jalali, continue to Al Alam palace. Check-in at the hotel. You will be taken to enjoy a sunset cruise alongside the Muscat coastline in the afternoon. Overnight at Ramee Guest Line Hotel Muscat.
Day 3
Discover Bimah Sinkhole, Wadi Tiwi and Sur
Enjoy the beauty of the country with the visit to the Bimah Sinkhole. After your visit to the sinkhole, you will be taken to Sur, where you can enjoy the stunning views over the Indian Ocean and Oman’s beautiful white beaches. Enjoy a walk in the evergreen Wadi Tiwi and continue to Sur to visit one of the rare traditional dhow factories, an open-air dhow museum and enjoy a walk-through Al Aygah with its beautiful old, wooden doors. In the evening, as a part of the highlights of Oman, you have the possibility to visit the turtle beach where turtles can be seen laying their eggs as well as baby turtles leaving their nest (please note that during your stay it is low season and there is no guarantee to see any turtles). Day 4
Go On A Guided Tour To Sur, Al Kamil and Desert
Today you will leave the coastal area to experience the desert beauty of Sharqiyah Sands in Oman. First you will discover some of Oman's hidden gems. In the small town of Al Kamil, you will visit the delightfully renovated Forts Museum, then head to a gazelle sanctuary to see some of Oman's rare wildlife, you will soon see the first dunes and enter Sunset sun on the dunes and traditional dinner at the camp. Overnight at the Arabian oryx camp in the desert.
Day 5
Enjoy The Tour of Ibra, Birkat Al Mauz and Nizwa
Have your breakfast before setting out to discover more of this charming country! The hectic weekly market of Ibra will be your first stop today. As a part of the 6 night 7 days highlights of Oman, discover the old part of the city before continuing to Nizwa. You will soon find yourself surrounded by some of the highest mountains in Oman and walk along the banana and date palms at Birkat al Mauz or simply enjoy the view of the village. Overnight at Al Diyar Nizwa hotel.
Day 6
Learn about the history of Nizwa- Bahla- Jabreen and Amouage
Continue to Nizwa, the ancient capital of Oman. After that, you will walk around the Nizwa souk and learn about its history at the fort. This region has a very long and powerful history which you will get a glimpse of during a photo stop at Bahla Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and during your visit to the unique Jabreen Castle. On the way back to Muscat you will stop at the Amouage factory. They produce one of the best perfumes in the world and you can take a tour of the factory and explore the variety of different ingredients and incense. (Closed on Friday and Saturday). Overnight at City Season Hotel Muscat.
Day 7
Take a guided tour of Barka, Nahkl, Ain Thowarah
Today's tour will take you to the Bathina area. Before leaving the capital, you will visit the bustling Seeb fish market, where local fishermen sell their night catch. Go to a camel farm near Barka, where normally people from all over the GCC are looking for a new racing camel. In the early afternoon, join Nakhl. Visit its beautiful fort which is built on a high mountain. Drive through the old part of town, past old mud houses and beautiful gardens, and reach the hot springs of Ain Thowarah. Enjoy a walk along the palm trees and the swimming pool. After that, return to Muscat and proceed to the airport for your departure flight.
